Mine's the DC. It was the pioneer system. First at many things.
-First to use 128 bit Graphics (that's double the 64 bit at the time) -First to have adabtable A.I in a video game (Yes, I am referring to Seaman. Look it up on the internet) -First to have internet capabilities. -First to have downloadable content (something that is quite popular on Xbox now...) -First to have an MMORPG, Phantasy Star Online. -First to have Voice Chat online (in japan only) -First to have an official online video game network (remember SegaNet?)
Also, it had alot of other cool things that remained even after the system became defunked. Sega left the hardware open to programmers so you can still see new Dreamcast releases from time to time.
</stupid endless rant>

If you tried looking up "Seaman adaptable A.I. Sega" you'd probably be okay.
Since you left out the N64, I'm going to go with Gamecube since I can play both Metal Gear Solid and Legend of Zelda on it. As far as I know, Gamecube (aside from Super Mario All-Stars, Super Game Boy, and several Gameboy [Color/Advance] games) was the first Nintendo system that let you play old games on it. Granted, the discs are tiny and hold little data, the networking options are severely limited, but as an old-style console and not one of these new essentially console-computer hybrid systems (the exact definition of an X-Box, hence it's success I think, plus the PS2 gets closer to it every few months it seems), I think the Gamecube comes out on top. I mean, with all these new options you have with X-Box games you might as well be playing the thing on a real computer. </pro-Nintendo rant>
Edit: to clarify, it was a close draw between the cube and N64 for me, so Gamecube being an option ended the standoff for me.

I have access to both the Game Cube and X-Box. I like the Game Cube controller better for some games (like SSX Tricky - which I have for both), maybe that's because I first played on Game Cube. . who knows. But overall, I like the X-Box better. . .the graphics are clearer and crisper
