Does anyone know anything about the band called Reps? I've searched all over the net but it got me nowhere, the only song I can find any information about is Bout The City from Jet Set Radio.

Nope, they're the biggest mystery in musc there ever was.
They left without a trace of a song, photo, album or existance...

That's freaky. Maybe that band only made 'Bout the City? How about try other artists that made songs in the JSR series. I couldn't find crap on the artists that made Rockin the Mic.

Well, I know one of the bands (Latch Brothers) was infact two of the Beastie Boys, so I was thinking maybe someone knew something about The Reps as being another band? That might be possible.

What often happens when Music for soundtracks is made is:
A group of artists and musicians get together specifically for the soundtrack, make the music, and then don't click enough to make anything else.
A good example of this is the band "the Seatbelts" Who anime fans will know created the music for the Cowboy Bebop anime series. All of their music is for Cowboy Bebop, either the show or the movie. They may have continued working together, but under a different name to branch away from Cowboy Bebop, since I don't think any real musician wants to be labelled.
Thats my hypoteneuse.

He said that they might have, not that they did.
I'm pretty sure the band Boondock Saints was started for the film and then later made their own album.
