The only thing i can think of to really improve the colouring would be to put a bit more detail into it. I personally think that it's fine how it is.

make the shading smoother, take the wierd arrow things of the guys pants, and make the bottom of their shirts look more natural.

for color, put a background color.(unless they like floating in space )
